Participation is at the heart of our work. Good stakeholder involvement in our work can yield many valuable outcomes. Yet, we still see this go wrong (too) often. Sometimes because initiators choose participation but don't really know why they are participating or what it means. This makes participation seem like an end in itself, which it should not be.
